Naazim Abdulla

Chairman and Chief AI Officer

Naazim Abdulla is a reputed technology leader with over 25 years of diverse experience across corporate leadership and entrepreneurship.

He is currently spearheading Naico’s transformation into an AI-first company as its Chief AI Officer, leading the organization through its most strategic shift yet—towards AI-augmented software development and AI-driven solutions for global clients.

Naazim began his career as a software developer and gained ten years of international experience, most of which was in the United States working for a Fortune 100 company in technology leadership roles.

In 2005, he returned to India to embark on his entrepreneurial journey and founded Naico ITS. He led the company for 12 years as CEO and currently serves as Chairman of the Board. Naazim has also co-founded multiple companies in India and the US.

He is an angel investor, a social contributor, and has taken on various fractional leadership roles for start-ups and growth-stage technology companies.

Naazim holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K), and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU).

Nazeer Peerumohammed

Chief Executive Officer

Nazeer Peerumohammed is the CEO of Naico ITS with over 23 years of professional experience in Information Technology marked by the trends of progressive positions of technology and management responsibilities. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum (India). Before being named as CEO in February 2018, Nazeer was Naico’s Executive Vice President and was responsible for the Business development, key account management, and financial management functions.

Prior to joining in Naico in Aug 2017, Nazeer was Sr. Delivery manager of Wipro Technologies and was responsible for Medical devices division in its Kochi development center. During his 18+ years of career in Wipro, he had working experience in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Japan across various domains like Telecom, Wireless, Peripherals, and Medical. Nazeer is recognized as one of the leading experts in the field of the Embedded Product Development and established himself as an IT leader by focusing on the strategy, technology, process and people aspect of the business.

Nishad Azhivelikkakath

Chief Operating Officer

Nishad is an exceptional IT expert, with an experience of over 25 years in the industry. He perfectly blends strategy and technology oversight in with the planning and delivery of transformative Managed IT operations. Starting his career as a Programmer at Brahmos Division (then KELTEC), Kerala; he later moved to Prestigious Qatar CGIS, where he mastered in architecture and delivery of enterprise-class Geospatial Information System Solutions. Not only this, to his cap of achievements, he has more feathers to add like being instrumental in conceptualizing and developing a GIS-based emergency response solution for US government agencies during his stay in the US, which is currently being used by major cities and states in the United States. At Naico, he leads the operations and provides directions for Technology Roadmap.

Matt Payyn

VP-Business Relations

Matt Payn has about two decades of experience in a variety of industries including healthcare, finance, technology, and construction. With a Master’s degree in Business Administration and breadth of experience, he has a unique perspective to guide Naico’s relationships and growth in the multitude of client industries.

Most critical to his role in a company of technology experts, Matt is a gifted relationship builder and networker.

He is a leader and visionary, being the ideator behind events like the Limbitless Challenge ‘Table Rock Ascent’ and a community-focused technology concept called Golovepeople.com.

Muhammed Shuraif

AVP-Business Diversification

Shuraif has over 15 years of well-rounded experience in all aspects of building and running software businesses. Shuraif started his career with Naico ITS as a software engineer but over the last 15 years he has played a role in every department of the company at different capacities.

Shuraif joined the leadership team in 2017 as the AVP of Business Diversification, with a focus on expanding Naico’s business to areas beyond its core offerings. Shuraif led building and popularizing the community networking platform that Naico ITS sponsored for IT professionals in the region. Being a people person, Shuraif is a key contributor to the cultural activities and associate engagement activities of the company.

Shuraif holds a Bachelor’s degree as well as a Master’s degree in Computer Applications.

Jagadheesh M

Mohamed Riyas is a certified Project Management Professional with over 17 years of experience in the IT industry, specialized in project management, and software testing. With a strong focus on quality solutions, Riyas has led diverse teams for multimillion-dollar projects for customers in North America, and the Middle East.

Starting his career in software testing and quality assurance, Riyas quickly transitioned to project management, where he played a pivotal role in managing high-profile projects. Notable among these are a prestigious Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) project and a large-scale GIS data enhancement project, both for government clients.
